Project 1
Mountain Ash, Windermere Specifier – Charles Church
 
A development of 19 two and three bedroom luxury apartments in the Lake District. Mountain Ash was Charles Church’s first Timber Frame development. Supplied by Chandos, This was chosen because it offered the benefits of high insulation values and met environmental concerns because the materials used were from a renewable source. Importantly it also substantially reduced the build programme. The result is an impressive development that remains in sympathy with the local vernacular and meets all planning requirements.

Quay 5, West Manchester – Specifier LPC Living
 
Quay 5 is a prestigious development of more than 230 one and two bedroom apartments in West Manchester, created using the Chandos Timber Frame System. A rapid build capability was essential to save the developer both time and money, and was made possible by the timber frame engineered by Chandos at its Rochdale factory. Aimed at the city’s vibrant young professional market and majoring on stylish high specification, the initial release of apartments sold out rapidly.
